eBike Trails in Sedona

While electric mountain bikes are still very limited on the types of trails they're allowed on around Sedona, Arizona, we are stoked to now offer eBikes in our rental fleet. Most of our recommended routes start and end at our shop, making it easy to get in an awesome ride without needing to transport a heavy eBike. Let us show you around the best eBike-friendly routes in Sedona!

Please note, eBikes are not permitted on ANY singletrack trails within the Coconino National Forests Red Rock District (Sedona). Visit the USFS website for more info or any questions.

Schnebly Hill Overlook

- Ride length & Time: 19.5 miles, 3 - 4 hours

Want to see the best view in town? This is the ride for you. Climb all the way to the top of the Mogollon rim and look down into Sedona below. Schnebly Hill Road is an out and back, however once on the top of the rim, there is an endless amount of dirt road options to explore.

Chicken Point

Iconic Sedona. Ride out among the red rocks to the famous Chicken Point, home of the white line. This dirt road route has lots of slick rock and tons of great views.

Bonus: Take the Submarine Rock jeep trail when descending for additional riding and more incredible views.

Soldiers Pass


- Sights: Devils Kitchen Sinkhole

- Ride Length & Time: 6.6 miles, 1.5 - 2 hours

This route is used by off-road motorized traffic. Please use caution.

An out-and-back route in the heart of West Sedona. Ride the Sunrise bike path out below the Sedona Bike park, then jump on the road to the Soldiers Pass Trailhead. Once at the trailhead, take the jeep road all the way until the end and return. The popular sinkhole “Devil's Kitchen” and the 7 sacred pools area can be accessed from this ride.


Disclaimer: Trails are rated by "Sedona Standards," which may not line up with your home trails. Some trails may be more challenging than those you regularly ride. We can only recommend to be cautious, have fun, and live to ride another day! There is no shame in walking a section or circling back to try a move again. The experience will be worth the effort!
